Ingredients:-
3/4 cup almonds (slivered)
1/3 cup instant coffee granules
2/3 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 pound butter (at room Temperature)
1/4 cups sugar teaspoon vanilla
eggs
cups chocolate chips
Method of Preparation:-
1. Toast almonds on a baking sheet in pan until golden brown, allow to cool completely.
2. Dissolve coffee granules in 2 tablespoons of hot water. Combine flour soda and salt.
3. With a mixer at medium speed beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Beat in cooled coffee, vanilla and eggs. Add in flour mixture while beating at low speed.
5. Stir in almonds and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets about 3 inches apart.
6. Bake in oven until edges start to brown, Cool for a couple minutes on cookie sheets before removing.
